“There are a wide range of tablets, from Microsoft Surface to the more rugged tablets from global companies like MobileDemand, that offer a wide range of accessories, such as rugged cases, cameras, forklift mounts, barcode scanners, full communication options etc, which means that these devices can now be used effectively in rugged environment by the workforce, and also link to a company’s backend software system.”
